The Fastest Growing Outdoors Demographic

The Women in the Outdoors program, hosted by the National Wild Turkey Federation(NWTF), connects a growing number of females who share a passion for conservation and the great outdoors.  Through hundreds of events organized by NWTF chapters, women have opportunities to participate in outdoor activities such as archery, shot gunning and introduction to hunting classes.  The program has seen significant growth over the past decade reflecting an increase in the interest of women in the outdoors, whether its quality time with family and friends or pursuing ones own interest in hunting.

Various events are held throughout the year, either on a state or local level. In Oklahoma we are beginning to branch out with our Women In The Outdoors by encouraging members to host their own events such as brunch, hunts, camping or glamping.  It is always fun when we are together.
